Frequently asked questions

How Nextalyst compares Texas job offers, protects your privacy, and keeps pricing and limitations clear.

Straight answers before you compare

A job change deserves precise, transparent inputs. Here is what the tool covers, what it does not do, and what is planned for launch.

Is my salary and job information private?

The free comparison requires no signup or credit card. During Phase 2, inputs are not connected to n8n, email, payments, or a production database. Do not enter Social Security numbers, banking details, medical records, employer-confidential documents, or other sensitive identifiers.

How much does Life Navigator cost?

The free comparison is $0 and requires no card. The Complete Decision Report is planned as a $19 one-time purchase. Premium is planned at $29/month and can be canceled for future billing. During Phase 2, paid options are informational or waitlist-only; no live payment is enabled.

Does Life Navigator provide career, legal, or tax advice?

No. Life Navigator organizes user-entered facts and assumptions for educational decision support. It does not provide tax, legal, financial, insurance, employment, or career advice, and it does not tell you whether to accept or reject an offer. Confirm important terms with the employer and qualified professionals.

Why use this instead of a salary calculator?

Because a job decision is not only salary. Life Navigator keeps salary, guaranteed and variable bonus, health insurance, 401(k), PTO, remote work, commute, Texas tolls, childcare, relocation, and quality of life visible in one comparison using your own inputs.

Can I change the inputs later?

The free comparison is designed for quick edits in the browser. Premium is planned to let active job seekers save multiple scenarios and revise figures after negotiations. Saving is not connected during Phase 2.

Does Life Navigator make the decision for me?

No. You decide which trade-offs matter. Life Navigator shows the facts and assumptions separately and never turns your life priorities into a forced accept-or-decline verdict.
